Getting back to the true meaning of Christmas.
As the Holiday Season approaches, let us not forget the REASON for the SEASON. So many people get caught up in Holiday decorations, Holiday dinners, and Holiday shopping that they truly forget what Christmas is all about. The celebration of Christ! Yes, Christ our Saviour was born on Christmas Day and this should be celebrated with a Joyous Spirit. We tend to get overwhelmed with other things that consume out hearts and minds that we lose sight of the real reason this holiday is to be acknowledged. From this point on, try to focus more on Jesus, not just during the holidays but everyday. Let us remind our children, brothers, and sisters that it’s not about presents (gifts), but to be present with the Lord. "Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually" 1 Chronicles 16:11.
Gifts are wonderful, but Jesus is way more important. Change your X-Mas back to CHRISTmas. Jesus is the REASON for the SEASON.
